He is the youngest son of Steve Haberberger Sr. Prior to joining Haberberger, Ben worked for the Tinuum Group (Formerly Clean Coal Solutions Services) as a Project Engineer in St. Louis. He also served as a Facility Manager at Tinuum’s Coleto Creek Power Plant in Fannin, TX. Ben holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Haberberger Inc. continues to grow with the addition of four new employees to their operation. Bob Willig has joined Haberberger Mechanical as VP of Sheet Metal Operations. Bob has over 30 years of experience in the sheet metal industry covering estimation, fabrication, installation, and project management. Bob studied mechanical engineering at Florissant Community College and served an apprenticeship with Local 36. We are pleased to announce the opening of a plumbing division at Haberberger Mechanical by adding Steve Baker, Vice President of Plumbing. Steve brings over 35 years of experience in the plumbing industry, with 18 years in the field as a plumber. Baker relocated to St. Louis with his family eight years ago from California where he was president of Extreme Mechanical Inc., a company he founded in 2000. Haberberger Wins 2013 Keystone Award Celebrating Construction Excellence

Haberberger was recognized as a Specialty Contractor/Subcontractor in the category of Industrial/Infrastructure projects over $5 million. A five-judge panel selected Haberberger and the other winners based on the challenges each firm faced during construction and their effectiveness in achieving solutions. Haberberger, which oversaw work on the mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems during construction of the Renewable Energy Center, was faced with a very challenging schedule, with over 800 RFI’s (request for information) and 176 piping design changes. On April 30, 2014, Haberberger, Inc. was awarded two Mechanical Contractors Association of Eastern Missouri (MCA) Outstanding Mechanical Installation awards. The awards were for the Ameren Missouri Labadie Energy Center Unit #4 Condenser Debris Filter Replacement and Metropolitan Sewer District-St. Louis Caulks Creek A Pump Station.
